7. Ion transporters
Characterization of plasma-membrane and organellar ion transporters at molecular level. The transporters involved in the maintenance of cation and pH homeostases will be studied using biophysical, biochemical and mol. biological approaches.

Requirements:
* Recent PhD (last 3 years) in biophysics, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology or microbiology,
* Adequate publication outputs, experience in laboratory work, supervision of undergraduate students and teaching
* Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry of lower eukaryotes (optional)
The candidate should submit, besides CV and motivation letter, a one page project outline of his/her previous research experience.
